The summer that year on the hills where he ran
Had spread like a boast through the Green

From the cloud top pines where the sky began
To streams where he came to fish and to dream

He laughed like the rain chasing squirrels into trees
Leaving smiles on the grass like the dew

And the bronze of his hair as he raced in the breeze
Hung a bell on the wind as he flew…
